I hope Matthew reads this review! This book has wonderfully enhanced my understanding of the plight of the homeless. When I speak with a man or woman who lives this life I see them as a brother or a sister and we speak as friends. I do what seems right at the moment. This book has been very beneficial for me during this Lent season. Even reading thru some of the book a second time around seems to bring more to light!! Thank you Matthew Manint for sharing an overlooked and neglected/shunned part of our society. May God bless you always!!
I know these men personally and I can vouch for the authenticity of this book and the lives of the men it prortrays. Unfortunately two of the men in the book have passed on from this live, but I remain in touch with those that are still with us. I hope the author continues his work in this area.
